This is a good post. But from my experience there are just as many narcissistic cunts representing our own gender doing this shit.

Nothing gives me more pride when I go into the gym with my overweight body and bust ass doing things someone looking like me should never be able to do, and so many of the greek statues with the gay ass haircuts and perfectly kept stubble and generic tribal tattoos look at me with a self-hate.

Training for fighting for 12 years and working my ass off in a spice factory for most of my young life has left me with a great foundation. I still retain a lot of strength and endurance for a fat ass like myself.

And when I'm perfectly fit and healthy and ready to take on a fight I look like a bald chimpanzee.

All of these enormous world of Warcraft looking motherfuckers know deep down inside they are ruining their bodies.

This is a message I've long tried to convey to people: don't work out just to look good, train for something. Build yourself for a practical fucking reason. And you move closer to achieving your outer-heavenly state.

Can't stress how many times I've seen gym buffs come through the (MMA) gym looking like a damn fantasy RPG and gets his ASS handled by an average looking dude.

And the boys over on the various lifting threads love to shit on martial artists for this. They're so insecure they love to talk shit on the 150 pound black belt BJJ practcioners they totally dominated when they are 220 and up.

Don't get me wrong at all. Many of these guys are immensely strong. But that's it. That's all they have is a ton of slow-twitch muscle fibers. Train to hybridize your muscles and you can enjoy strength, speed/explosivity, and endurance. Flexibility above all else.

Two 185lb men go into the ring together, one only lifts like a bodybuilder and does a little jogging once in a while, the other does weight-lifting, anaerobic/aerobic cardio, calesthetics, plyometrics, etc. Who will win? Sure the pure weightlifter will have more initial burst strength in terms of raw power for take downs and grappling. That's it. What's more is he will tire out WAAAAY faster because all that excess muscle requires that much more oxygen to be carried through the bloodstream. His body can get bigger, but it's not like the body compensates by pulling in more oxygen. Atrophy sets in way sooner. The other guy is gonna be lighter on his feet, more alert, have more strength over a period of time, and will usually strike with more damaging impact.

Who would you be more afraid of? The 200 lb guy who can bench 300 or the 200 lb guy who can do 100 one-handed push ups.
