I've seen a lot of talk about VR porn, but no detailed explanation from an expert explaining how you get into it. What hardware to purchase and why, etc.

If it's even worth it, or if it's mindblowingly better, if content can be downloaded and watched for free, etc. If not what are the costs. How much new content is being created, is it just a fad like 3d tv, and it actually sucks.
