She is so wrong it is laughable. I work in a place where I do "technical skilled construction" and I get paid twenty dollars an hour. It's backbreaking work. I'm both physically and mentally exhausted at the end of the day and the cherry on top is seeing good looking girls in the building I work, paid over 35 dollars an hour to get "trained" by eager employees. Like all these girls do is dress nice and smell good and they get attention and their opinion matters! Sure they have a college degree in something, but they've already proved to not know how to do anything at all! Hence the constant 100% training they get year in and year out!

On my side, I have to put up with not being filled in on the days plan, I have to deal with not having a say in virtually anything. As a guy, I work in a place where my opinion doesn't mean shit. And it's not women doing this to me. It's other guys! Older guys who have been working in this field for decades! Some of them are dumb as fuck, yet they get paid more than me because they are older.

And I see them jump all over these good looking girls from college! It grinds my gears to see these girls get any attention at all, when they time and time again demonstrate that they know absolutely nothing and they have no interest in learning anything about anything. It's all pretend. All they want to do is play dumbass scavenger hunt games with their group on weekends and pretend to sound knowledgeable about machinery and cars. It's all fake. And there are guys who do this too, but still. It bugs me when these girls get something just because of their looks.

Well despite all my misgivings, I'm going to continue doing my best to move ahead in the world, but damn is it disheartening to see all my hard work amount to nothing because others get shit just handed to them.
