Personally I don't see any real need for all these debates about cognitive differences between men and women. To me it's like a diversion from the real issue, namely the wide difference in sexual desire between us and women: the implications and ramifications are that men trade resources for sex and women trade sex for resources. And since women are increasingly becoming financially independent they are no longer exchanging sex, love, intimacy with men like before. This wll potentially lead to men and women drifting apart from each other. Who cares about math when you have the real issue ready to implode in front of you? Unless you shift the focus of the public debate.
