The "struggle" between masculinity and femininity does seem to be well summarised by the story of Shiva and Kali:

Once more the world was saved from total destruction. Shiva’s quick and selfless thinking had balanced the Devi’s dance of destruction. With the world now safe, the gods returned to their regular routines.

Well feminism coupled with women's nature that before was meant to be suppressed has a very self destructive vein to it. They devour and devour and turn on themselves and everyone around them like shrieking maddening demons.
