Story for y'all.

Back in 2012, one of my exs had a child soon after leaving me (for a woman), and I suspected the child was mine after doing a bit of "digging" and research. My ex had told me she was pregnant and that the kid could be "anyone's" because she supposedly slept with two other men after me in ADDITION to the woman she left me for. She wasn't going to ever tell the child he had a father, and instead her and her girlfriend were going to raise the kid themselves.

Well, come mid-2013, just a month or two after the baby was born, I got a call from my ex saying she and her baby were kicked out by her girlfriend who cheated on her, and she was left on the streets.

Her boss of her job gave her a place to stay at a hotel for a while, and I (being a stupid white knight at the time) went to be there for her and listen to what happened and see the baby for the first time in person. I felt like the child looked a lot like I did. I know it sounds weird, as I usually think to myself "all babies look the same," but I couldn't help but think that.

The next month, my ex contacted me again and told me that while she was at work, she had her son babysat. The babysitter was too distracted by SOMETHING, I don't know what, and wasn't around to notice the baby had turned over and suffocated himself in a blanket/pillow (it was one of the two) and had died.

A funeral service was held for the baby, and my ex got back with her girlfriend temporarily (pity dating, I guess), and like this story, nothing happened to the sitter. My ex forgave her pretty quickly and said it wasn't her fault.

Point of that is...women can be pretty passive about the death of a BABY.

I wouldn't be surprised if she threw the baby out on purpose and lied about it.
