I wasn't married, but I used to love the time before my ex and her kid woke up.

Actually, the kid(toddler) wasn't that bad.. She would sit there quietly watching TV and would leave squid alone to drink his morning coffee..

Then the other one would wake up!! Fuck it got loud quick!!

Yeah. Every now and then I realise how peaceful and serene my home is. Waking up naturally on a Saturday morning to go make a cup of coffee and check the news. Any shit I have to get done that day gets done in my own time. Simple pleasures that married men don't have.

Yup. Hear the birds chirping every morning -- well at least during spring, summer, fall. And other than that, peace & quiet.

Do have to say though, that... every now and then, I am reminded of the old poem:

As I awoke this morning When all sweet things are born A robin perched upon my sill To signal the coming morn. The bird was fragile, young and gay And sweetly it did sing The thought of happiness and joy Into my heart did bring. I smiled softly at the song And as it paused – a lull I gently closed the window And crushed its fucking skull.

Because sometimes, even the "chirping" gets annoying.

If you married a woman and then after say 15 years found that she was sleeping around. Does that mean that you married a pro in the beginning .
