Hey brothers. I'm going to be joing the military soon and I was wondering can i get some advice on how to be financially secure for retirement. I'd was thinking about putting 30 percent of my income into the roth TSP and 10 percent into my emergency fund? Is that a good number? Should I do 20 percent for the roth TSP? I don't plan on getting any fancy electronics that most of my peers are getting. I was just going to get a PS Vita and my cell phone. I'd really want to be comfortable after my time in the military. Doing 10 percent for roth TSP is not good enough. I'm looking for the magic number to put me ahead of my peers when it comes to retirement.
Sorry for the grammar mistakes. I'd hope i didn't annoyed you guys.
