Makes sense. The controlling class wants to curb the population to a more manageable and balanced number. By putting the genders at odds with each other they are passively lowering the birthrate.

The only alternative would be genocide, which runs a risk of the controlled class revolting and overthrowing the top powers.

Not going to watch the video but will say of course we have been a huge social experiment. The sheep are easier to control when you pry dad away from the upbringing. We are in the last stages of being conquered and it has all been done by manipulating the dialogue.
