Pugs are small brachycephalic dogs that have trouble breathing due to the shape of their snout. They are characteristically observed to nod off (fall asleep), which is considered a cute or funny behavior by many canine enthusiasts. In fact, the cause behind this spontaneous loss of consciousness is severe oxygen deprivation. The dog spends much of its time in a state of near suffocation.
Another curious peculiarity of pug dogs is their penchant for "losing" an eyeball or two if their head is impacted. If your little bow wow bumps his flat face against a door, his eye might just want to pop out of its shallow socket. How silly!
The folds on the pug's face that give it the characteristic look so many dog fanciers delight in are actually very unpleasant for the dog. If not cleaned often and thoroughly, the dog will develop rashes, sores, fungal and bacterial infections, and accumulate slime in the folds of its face.
Pugs also suffer from spinal injury and a heritable disease that literally causes their brains to decay. But the pug is only one breed among numerous other "toy" breeds of dogs that were developed for the fancy of Victorian women. Even today, women make up the overwhelming majority of toy breed owners and represent the largest market demand for these dogs because women consider them to be 'cute', regardless if such dogs experience tremendous suffering akin a very severely disabled human being every day of their short, miserable lives. It only follows that women enjoy the suffering of others. Especially the suffering of something ugly like a pug, or an incel.
