As a MGTOW I try to guide my friends away from harmful relationships that they have or may be developing. I don't go full on red pill, but I try to give them some ideas and I guess you could say plant the seeds of dissent to at least get them thinking about said relationships. Something I've been trying lately is this thought experiment; I ask my friends "What can you get from a woman, besides sex, that you can't get from a friends that's equally as close, but is male?"

To me it seems like sex is the deciding factor. Physical intimacy. That's my opinion of course. I've only had a few friends admit that I have a point here but the majority say, "I can't get the same connection with a man that I could with a woman". I ask them if it has any sexual aspect and they always say no, it's just a matter of an emotional connection and openness.

Am I wrong to believe that I can share a strong emotional bond and connection with a man, without it being homosexual? This seems to be what these guys are saying and it doesn't add up to me.

Do you guys think that as men we've been conditioned to not be able to share any emotions with our absolute closest friend or friends, those that you love as a true brother? Is this just another strategy to make men more dependent on women? Or is this only possible in the context of a homosexual relationship?
