Don't think for a second this post is going to tell you to stop focusing on feminism and women. Let's get this out of the way first -> Fuck that shit, not at all.

I went to a Christmas party. Something arranged by work. Amazingly as such a low ranking male not one of my female colleagues came over and greeted or wave from a distance or even show 1 scrap of interest in me.

But out of public view, I guess i am good enough for these women because some of them have chatted to me before. But at this party, not even an acknowledgement.

Do I give a shit? No but it was a reminder that I'm just not that interesting to females, at least not anymore.

But while at this party I noticed something else. Lots of white knighting going on and showing off. When they say ignorance is bliss, I think if i wasn't so aware of the motivations behind the actions of people, if I wasn't so acutely in tune with the politics it might have been an enjoyable evening.

But there was a popularity contest going on. And I noticed something about some people who I thought I liked, actually are pretty shallow.

But in amongst this were people who were genuine, not concerned about what others thought about them but just enjoying the moment and talking.

So I'm here to remind you, while it is a cluster fuck out there, and a lot of shallow people and I'll be honest, I don't trust females at all.

There are still a lot of decent people out there who are worth your time. Just be careful, be wise, and as for the rest of the perverse and fucked system, give up on that too.

It's lovely not to have the stress of participation just to be popular. It's lovely to know that you have time, and with enough time good people will like you and shallow people most likely won't but not giving a fuck about them either.
