By being too unrelenting, too transparent I became to the point where I feel the need to justify myself.

I think I took the whole phrase of "Try to be more open-minded." too literally and misunderstood its total meaning the past 2 years.

I brought people in my life who I didn't have the same interests with, women I don't necessarily get along with, and gay dudes (which i have no bias against) that i gave the wrong impression to from just being too nice, and doing many other things that screwed me over that i shouldnt have done.

Now with that said I will still be "open" in the common sense (not being ignorant and the actual correct sense of the word), but will instead be unyielding, put others' thoughts into consideration beforehand, and ultimately go my own way.
