Jockey was injured, and the other riders were put at risk. No word on the horse but I'm sure at the very least it was shook up a bit.

She obviously didn't think this through. Horses weigh about a tonne and get to high speeds, you may as well step infront of a car

This is a really dumb idea now. Then, since peopel dealt with horses all the time, it was even worse. I hope the coroner judged it suicide and not an accident.

From what I've read her plan was to step out in front of the kings horse, the horse would stop and she would then pin a suffragette rosette onto its bridal. The idea that a horse wouldn't or couldn't stop in time might not have entered her mind.

No idea if it's true or not but self sacrifice doesn't sound like a particularly female idea.

It appears she was unable to understand the consequences of her actions. She thought that she would be able to stop a race horse going full speed. She wasn't.

Yup. This whole pussy-centric society has worked out great for both men and women. Don't get me wrong. There is no changing biology, economics, classic human irrationality/stupidity, and the plantation has always been men's lot, and I don't want to go back and I warn all our brothers against it and I will never condone it, but it's so goddamn absurd, that I can't help but laugh bemusingly at how stupid it all is.
