I've been working since I was 11. I had a paper route and then I started working in a grocery store when I was 16. I've slogged in retail until I graduated then found progressively better paying, with increasing responsibility, jobs to get to where I am now. I have 2 younger cousins that don't date, don't want to go to college and play video games and make music/film skateboard videos. They've gone their own way since high school while I'm paying into a system that doesn't reward hard work and is more concerned with feelz. These kids might be on to something.

We're victims of our own success. I'm old enough, barely, to remember raising chickens for eggs and poultry. My grandfather moved out back in the 20s, when he was about thirteen, and had a job on a farm doing manual labor. Because back then you did what you had to do. People like that don't have to try hard to be rational, because if you start doing irrational or useless things in an environment like that, you are fucked.

So think about how that impacts society on many levels. Some chick that's hot but bitchy, bad at keeping up a house, and wont cook? Fuck that. Some dude acting like Jersey shores? He's called out as a joke.

Nowadays few people in the U.S. face that level of adversity, so they act out like that.

But hey, MGTOW aspire to self ownership and self actualization. It's a selfish goal, but maybe the most worthwhile. Curing cancer or exploring space is all well and good, but we dont even have a sustainable model for our society. Why reach for the stars, if the problems are knocking at your door?

I'm 24 and I just want to be the guy my grandfather is, he can do almost any trade related thing, from welding to carpenting. He's the only man from my family I respect, because he is not a cuck. So, do I want to do something like defend values in a court room or with a rifle? Fuck no, I just want to be that know-how, go-to guy.
