Yea, I'm missing how this makes you cool. Most of the first world population is on Facebook. If you don't need to check it, don't. I have around 1,300 friends. I don't care enough to take the time to delete over 1,000, nor am I that pressed over not seeing my news feed. I never see white knighting because it's either not there or I'm not reading every post. I really just look at links and pictures pretty much. People still hit me up on Facebook chat, I might update my status like once every two weeks. It's a social tool. OP, this post adds nothing and makes you sound like you're trying too hard. My two cents.

Sure, I am an expat in Asia and my game is totally international. I hook up with tons of girls from Europe here to study, SE Asian girls traveling through, etc. FB lets me set up booty calls and rendezvous easily with girls I know all around Asia.

Plus, culturally, Koreans were on social networking (was called Cyworld) for 10 years even before Facebook existed. Literally, 90% of Koreans have smartphones and the broadband penetration is almost 100%.

Tip: I put all my prospects into a separate friend list. I set my settings to control what they can see as well.
