I work in a public building with an ancient air conditioning system. My work is physical, I stand all day and have to secure/roam the facility and load/unload shipments between 50 to 200 lbs throughout the day. My shift is 8-9 hours long 5 days a week. Even with the AC cranked up I am sweating balls by the end of the day.

Female citizens who visit have complained about the AC being too high. These women generally visit for about ten minutes. They come in wearing sandals, skirts, and sleeveless blouses.

I have to wear pants and work boots. I can only get as casual as a nice polo. I am forbidden from wearing a tank top and shorts. There is no way for me yo make myself cooler, but these cold women could simply bring a sweater--god knows the purses they bring in could be used to rob a bank.

This is just one more example of men's interests being subjugated to women. "Your a guy, suck it up." So now because of these complaints I am sweating balls all day because these post-menopausal women refuse to bring a sweater.

If I get sick from heat exhaustion could I claim to be the vicitim of sexist air conditioning? What bullshit. I have no recourse but to shut up and deal with it according to my boss-hes a good guy but he cant displease the citizens due to the nature of the work.

Not to mention in the winter they turn the heat up so high it is hotter inside than it is hotter outside during the fucking summer... Fucking hell. Sorry for the rant.
