This woman should go to jail along with everyone who aided and abetted her. There is a reason that in the Code of Hummarabi that perjury is the first point covered. The justice system cannot work if people cannot place confidence in it.

Why is the husband going to jail? If she admitted to lying, I don't see why the guy would get thrown in there. That's complete bullshit.

The guy deserves to be reimbursed financially for the time he missed working and the emotional damage. He needs to get a public announcement by her on national TV in which she states she has lied (although I guess that point has already be fulfilled). He should be allowed to divorce her without having to pay half his assets to her. Then she should be tried for filing a false police report, which in this case to me is a felony and no longer a misdemeanor. I do hope she will spend quite a lot of time in jail for this. She needs to be made an example of. Stop false accusations against men.
