Intro

There's been a growing trend where guys come on here and basically say "This is what I've found works for me. If you don't do this, you're a loser". This is utter nonsense and should be called out for the beta faggotry that it is.

Body

There have been a few threads and posts recently where some guy comes on here and write a long spiel about how he found one path in his life that he really enjoys. Whether it's having kids, getting wasted and partying all the time, etc. He's found something that he really enjoys, a path that he found works for him, and he sees that path as the way for him to become more Alpha. So far so good.

Where it takes a drastic downturn towards the shitpost dumpster is where he then goes on to say that every guy pretty much needs to do the same thing. He'll throw in some shaming language, like saying you're a sexless loser if you don't party like him, or that you're less of a man if you don't want to have children. The poster draws a direct line between another man not choosing that path, and that other man being a beta schlub because of it.

This is bullshit. A core principle of The Red Pill has always been the idea that you as a man, are Captain of your own ship, you chart your course, you decide what you want to do, how you want to spend your time, what your hobbies are, who your friends are, how you earn a living, etc. The only qualification is that whatever path you choose, it has to be one that makes you better than you were yesterday. A path that makes you more fit, healthier, more successful with the type of woman you're attracted to, more self-reliant, more self-determinant, and generally more successful with whatever you choose to pursue. Not every man wants the same things out of life, just like not every man likes the same kind of woman. One man might like girls with huge tits and huge butts while another might like the mousey cosplay nerd girls. It doesn't really matter which you like, it just matters that you can get what you like when you want it through nothing but sheer determination and confidence. Some men want to be able to beat deadlifting records while others want to run the fastest mile. Some want to be generally good at most fitness related things and don't mind not being "the best" at one specific thing. None of this matters. The only thing that matters is that you're not the fatass sitting on the couch wasting your life away while your arteries clog.

As with those other things, men have the fortune to be able to forge our own path, choose our own life. It could be living by yourself in a cabin in the woods, chopping your own firewood and hunting your own food. It could be being a 6 figure lawyer in NYC. It could be being a family man and spreading your genes. It could be just being a frat guy who can do a longer keg stand than his bros. It could be running your own small business, fixing motorcycles on the side, working out, and banging bitches when and if you want to. And again as with the other things, it doesn't really matter which you choose. It just matters that you chose those goals and you chose to attain them.

The Blue Pill is the antithesis of the Red Pill for a reason, and it has that name for a reason to. The Blue Pill is for men who plug back in, do what they're told, rack up a bunch of student debt, get a job they hate, get fat, get married to a post-wall whore, shit out a few kids who grow up to hate them, and then die from heart disease when they're 54. A life of going through the motions, always listening to what you're "supposed to do". Doing what everyone else does and just following the crowd like a little automaton. The Red Pill is for men who choose to wake up from that, stop being part of the machine, and charge ahead on their own path. And it doesn't have to be the same path as everyone, or even anyone, else. As long as you can die looking back on your life and know that you achieved. You met your goals. You don't regret not getting that girl's number that one night. Not moving for that awesome job offer you had. Not being able to look at yourself in the mirror with your shirt off and honestly say "Would you fuck me? I'd fuck me".

So at risk of having this deleted as "concern trolling", I'm not going to call out those other threads or posters anymore. I'm just going to reiterate one of the basic lessons we all should have learned when we took the pill: YOU are the captain of your ship. Not some woman, not your boss, not your parents, not your deadbeat friends, not some jaded old guy with kids, not some frat bro, and not some asshole on the internet. You pick your path, kids or no kids, LTR or no LTR, parties or no parties. You pick your goals, and you spend each day achieving them. And you never let up or let yourself get sidetracked into following what someone says you're "supposed to do" because one day you'll look back and you'll realize you were living some other man's life, not yours. You were doing shit he enjoyed and told you you should enjoy, but you didn't. And you'll regret not spending your time being the best you that you can.

Summary

People will tell you that they found the best path in life and if you don't do what they did, you're a loser, a beta, a pathetic basemen dwelling virgin, etc. Ignore them. They don't have to deal with the consequences of your actions, you do. And you will not get any of the rewards or enjoyment they got from their path. You have to earn those yourself. Don't get suckered, browbeaten, and shamed into thinking that you're a loser because you like B more than A, option 2 more than option 1. Just make dam sure you're actually successful and loving your success when you pick B or option 2.

Be very wary whenever you see or hear someone say something that sounds like "I feel that everyone/man should experience.......at least once in life". That is someone who is trying to steer you away from your path and onto theirs. The only correct response to that is "Well I feel that I will experience exactly what I choose to in life, and not other things because someone told me to.
