So I'm in my early 20s and she was my first long-term gf. Long story short she cheated and dumped me for this guy she met at work, blaming small issues that I considered fixable in our relationship for her wanting to cheat. Claiming she is sorry.

I don't talk to her much anymore except for exchanging items left at each others' homes. I was sad and angry at first (still a little angry because I was disrespected), but I realize that I wasn't happy with her. We don't have much in common, she always played mind games, had tons of baggage, but the sex was frequent and kinky. Suddenly she stopped having sex with me so I took that as a bad sign. She was apparently raped as a teen (which is horrible and I do feel for her) so she admitted she only has sex to please a man, and I guess she stopped with me because she found someone new -.- ...

She was also not very good with money and I moved out immediately leaving her with all the bills (no mortgage, just an apartment). I told her she can get her new guy to help her with her bills..

She was clingy, jealous, controlling. I almost lost all my friends (luckily I have my bros back and apologized to them), more money in the bank, recently bought a new (used) car. My parents are understanding and I am living with them for a bit. My job doesn't pay much but I plan on advancing to something better in the near future. I am enjoying myself a lot and daydreaming about getting my own house and a nice car haha. Her new guy can deal with her crazy shit. The sex was nice but not worth the trouble in the end for me

(This is not to say there aren't any nice women out there; mine has just made me a little bitter admittedly. One of my friends has a really nice, respectable girlfriend).

TLDR: crazy gf cheated on me, sad at first but happy now being on my own. more money and freedom

Just wanted to share :)
