This is a fallacy. Starts with the presumption that men are not already being harmed by working 60+ hours a week. There's no reference to men having significantly shorter life spans and dying in larger numbers from vascular disease. There's no reference to men committing suicide in larger numbers due to the grueling work schedules and societal pressures to perform.

One could draw the equally valid conclusion that men are already being harmed, but that working long hours spares them from suffering even more health damaging abuse at home at the hands of their slave owners.

Might be because women have to balance "Work/life"..."multiple roles"? Whew thank god I am a man and can go back into my stasis chamber after work.
"Women tend to take on the lion’s share of family responsibility". Where are these women? I know they can do some laundry when it suits them and can hit the Pizza Hut order now button just as well as I can. If its not those two things then its the mans job.

Apparently only women have to deal with and balance their work/home life.

Also, it's apparently grueling work for a woman to press buttons and operate dials on man-made appliances that make housework virtually effortless work.
