Ok guys so I mostly lurk, if my formatting sucks I apologize. I found this reddit via the random bottom and couldn't believe what I found. Some back story on me. 25/m living in Texas. Had a long term GF in high school we broke up when I left for the Marines it was mutal(ish). Had a few flings after that but pretty much gave up. For the most part It was because I never really understood why people got married. Yeah they're a few good reasons but the risks are so high. My Mother gives me shit about not dating all the time but she gives me shit for a lot other stuff too. I'm often being told by not dating I'm being selfish. I don't really see it that way, if I want to save my cash and spend it on what I want and pass on the kids is that really that wrong? I never thought of this as a way of life, at least one one that would be widely accepted. I guess I just really wanted to introduce myself and see what you guys were all about.
