Hanging up (in that case) wasn't running away. But, you could ask to talk to someone else, and even lay it out for her. Tell her you don't appreciate her attitude and you'd like to talk to her supervisor. Or tell her to call back when she's not so emotional. Then again, I kinda like pissing them off, so maybe you shouldn't take my advice.

-Read your contract and make sure you cover what is expected of you and what is not expected of you so when they try and off load work onto you, you stand up and say no thats not part of my job description

-Never talk to them about anything personal or anything to do with gender, only talk to them work stuff and make sure each morning when you first see them smile and say good morning so she cant turn around and say to HR that you ignore her everyday

-NEVER EVER get angry or rise your voice around her no matter how hard she tries to push your buttons, otherwise she can play the victim card against you

-Never say a bad thing about her to your workmates and always be polite

If you are in a situation where you work alone together get a tape recorder and record everything in case she makes a accusation against you to try and get you fired

-If it is on a daily or weekly basis at the end of each day write in a book about the time and place and what she said to you and who was around when she said it, it might not work but if you do get called into HR about a false claim she makes against you, you can pull the book out and give it to them so if she turns around and does it to another male workmate she will have less of a solid argument

Man same thing happened to me, I started in Marketing working with 3 other women.

To start with I got on well with one of them, then once she realised I wouldn't fuck her she started being a dick and patronising me bc i'm new to the workplace. She was actually supposed to be teaching me seeing as i'm an apprentice.

I started to give her the silent treatment, making it clear we weren't friends anymore. Then she started saying that I sit around doing nothing, taking breaks every 20 mins to make coffee (I took 10 min breaks every hour and a half to get away from my computer screen).

Long story short boss knew how good I was and moved me to another department where's there's just guys, no pettiness or bitchiness that stems from personal issues fronted as work related issues, it all worked out better in the end anyways.

Moral of the story is : if you don't benefit a women or if you fall out with her in some way in the workplace, she won't be respectful about it and avoid you.. she'll just try and get you sacked.

You don't. Our society doesn't let us. You can change around how things are so that woman has no credibility, no influence and is shot down, shut out, or you can be pushed and unhappy, maybe have your job taken from you. Or you can quit early.

As for a creditor, being on the phone with her, that depends on what you can get to happen next. You could presume another call will come in; or that you call out; or you could put her on hold for an arbitrary period of time

just don't pay attention to her nonsense. if you're talking to someone with something work related, it means you're progress oriented, you're trying to get something done. your conversation should be entirely focused on that. if she starts getting pissy, that's her problem, just ignore it and focus on whatever it is you need to accomplish. for the most part women stop flaring their talons when they realize that it's not going to do anything. they do it because they're used to getting a response out of people, when she realizes that it has 0 response, she's going to stop. if she's one of those crazies that starts yelling and shit, well i would hope that the person in charge will fire her for being a crazy bitch disturbing the peace.

Wait a sec. I need you to clarify something. You say you were on the phone with a creditor. That doesn't sound like your workplace. This is a woman that's trying to collect on a debt right? She works for a collection company? And you're scared because you hung up on her? A collections agent? You're scared that you hung up on a collections agent because she's a woman? WTF do you think she's going to do charges you with harassment or something? Have you lost your mind?

Women may be treacherous creatures when you get involved with them (like in a relationship or even a friendship), but as long as you don't get "involved" with them, just treat them as you would any asshole man that talked to you like a jerk.

Quick story: I work at a small company. Been there for 9 years. There's a chick there, she's been there for like 15. She's a little younger than me and one time (way back when i was dumb, I kinda thought she was cute and she thought the same as me). We'd flirt a bit. Anyway, this one day I guess she felt empowered by this flirting and started repeatedly calling my last name across the room. She couldn't even see me. I was at a cubicle with a co-worker having a conversation.

After the third time I told my co-worker to hang on and leaned past my cubicle wall to see her sitting at her desk and she gives me this look like "why aren't you answering me?" and I go "What? I'm talking to someone!" I have a very loud and low voice. EVERYONE (12 people) overheard this whole thing.

A little while later I'm in the kitchen and she comes in. She starts telling me that she didn't "appreciate" being yelled at like that. I was floored. I go "Well I don't appreciate you screaming my last name across the room like you're calling a dog." and walked out. GOT HER! She turned into a fucking puppy dog after that. And she's respected me ever since. Sure, she's a chick. Shit testing is still always going to be there, but she'll never take it to THAT level ever again.

The point of the story is: if someone says or does something that pissed you off, say something. As long as your not getting all bent out of shape over something stupid. But when you are a fully actualized man, you'll know when someones trying to take a dig/shot at you. You just have to trust your gut and react. Now if you're young an immature, you might want to not trust your gut. I mean, if you're fucking scared of a creditor because she's a woman, damn man... this problem goes a lot deeper than females in the workplace. Do you even have a work place? I'm not convinced you do.

Why am I starting to get the feeling that a lot of the guys in this MGTOW forum are a whiny bunch of failures looking for yet another excuse as to why they are failures? It's not Males going their own way. It's MEN.
