A strong foundation is essential to build any building that lasts a lifetime.

Intro: In the blue pill the conditioning takes place that you are prefect the way you are, e.g. special beta cupcake. However, after from the truth is that you are not prefect, you are not special, and you do not deserve anything because you exist.

Body: The reality in today's social is that men and women are brought up in manner that the "you" as the individual can be no better. I believe that is the biggest lie of the blue pill world and fable of contemporary society. There is a vested interest in complacency - weak willed people. To rise to a challenge and accept that failure is a possible outcome demands mental strength or in term of TRP, mental abundance. However, this personal trait "mental abundance" does not arise out of thin air.

It is the product of having a foundation of strength that enables risks to be taken, failure to be had, and success taken. The most common analogue is house being built. I think this is a crap analogue, instead I opt for a fight. A physical altercation is a grueling event where the whole individual is test, physically and mentally. To have a chance at winning or not getting beaten to pulp, you legs must hold. This is the foundation the roots you legs and feat are able to make with the ground. To keep you balance, to keep you moving, to keep you swift. From these roots you can build upward to deliver powerful kicks, lightning punches, and merciless throws. For every action there is reaction - your legs / roots must withstand the reaction, hence their are foundation.

Now we know what a physical foundation is the question is what is a mental foundation. It is similar to the physical one, the ability to undergo the reaction to choices, and the choices of others. To conceptualize this reaction, think of a shit test placed on you by a women. Just recently for me: "Let me see your phone" , the power talk "I want to see how many girls you are talking to you, even though I have no right to this information." How I handle it, "No, you do not have any right to see my phone." One aspect of having mental foundation is seeing an attack with word and being able to counter or defuse. Another aspect is being able to withstand the storm. Life is not pretty, life is not clear, life is not easy. With that being said life is going to mental mountains (goals, trials, change, money, etc) in your path. To be able to conquer these challenges requires endurance to keep going despite everything else. The last aspect of mental foundation I would say is know when to quite. In relation to the previous type, this one is much harder. As men, we do not want to give up at all. However, it can be advantageous to do so in right circumstances. All together, a solid mental foundation is what makes mental abundance and amused mastery second nature. So, the natural question is how do I develop a mental foundation?

The first step I would say is unplug from Facebook and other sources of information that short and require minimal thinking. These sources train your brain to only accept small micro size things that literally takes no thinking. The affect is like sugar for your brain, removing the sugar you build your brain to accept better types of food (information). Once you have removed the sugar source, look for activities that require more attention span. I like to suggest woodworking, metal working, or something physical and creative endeavor that produces something. The end result is important because we are training our brains but, the brain still thirsts for that sugar like a beta for vagina. Thus, a product is a reward for brain and hits both the pleasure and reward centers in our brain.

Progression will be slow, however, once made focusing for 8 hours at a time becomes possible. The goal of fully develop mental foundation is the ability to push aside noise (plate messages, shit tests, unreasonable boss, bitchy girls, beta males, facebook, anything that is distraction) and focus on the task at hand. I personally like studying and learning new information in science or engineering as way to build / maintain my mental foundation. However, any intense academic pursuit (learning a new language, analyzing history, etc) will work. This type of information is complex, multifaceted, and difficult to process quickly, and is source of strong mental foundation.
