Rules I had to listen to while growing up:

You have to pick her up (and she'll be late)
You have to pay for everything
You have to drop her off
She does not have to reciprocate any of this with sex or progress towards it, you rapist!

Yeah, girls are totally oppressed in this situation.

If a girl insists on paying her own way and meeting you at the date site herself, I feel nothing but appreciation. It's like...she actually wants to see me and get to know me better (god forbid a woman put ANY effort in this dance).

Since then, I will say that any woman that INSISTED the man pay (either in a cunty direct tone or passive-aggressive "I forgot my purse" bullshit) is an immediate red flag and I usually disqualify her from then on unless she makes it up the next time.
