TLDR: there's a reason you broke up in the first place. Give things another chance if you feel it needs one. Bitches be living in a movie.

A while back I made a post about why my girlfriend broke up with me. Feel free to read that first as it can put what I am about to write into perspective.

So we broke up. Shortly after, within the week of breaking up my dad asks me what happened. I tell him "man I think she's super clingy, childish and can't really accept my lifestyle. She wants a lot of my time and I can't afford it. She thinks she has a lot of problems that are trivial. She might have a nice future (being a business student at a prestigious school) and she's hot. But I can't date her cuz of that". His response was "well felix9, I understand where youre coming from but did you try to make an effort? Did you try to teach her? Did you try to explain why time is precious?". I was like "honestly, I don't think so". So I slept on it a little bit and decided to go and get her back to actually try for a second round.

We go out for coffee and I work my magic. She gave me quite a bit of resistance but not because she wanted to but because her mama and papa told her to. I don't know this for sure but I could see that in her eyes she wanted to just say "yea I'm down" but she said "I wanna go home, think about it and I'll let you know tonight". I tried to push back and say "just tell me now, I don't understand what will change in the next few hours" but it was a power move by her in my opinion. Ended up getting back together the same day and fucking.

Summary of what followed: I put in the effort like my dad suggested but to my "surprise" that wasn't enough, she always wanted more. I started to understand that she has movie standards. Everything needed to be a grand romantic gesture, even making breakfast needed to be fucking special. Anyways, I decided this wasn't for me but to save face I needed a way out where she needs to feel the breakup is mutual. We have a lot of mutual friends so I can't just dump her in the nearest dumpster unfortunately.

I got invited by one of my female friends to a party. Fucking great timing. I invite my friends but she can't come with me because she made some other plans with her friends. I say "cool meet us there here's the address, it's a 10-15min walk from the subway". To my surprise even that was a problem. She said "can you please take an Uber to the subway from her party and then get me and we can go back together?". Me being already sick of her shit and having a good time at the party I say "na Babe just walk it's a safe area and it's a 15min walk or just go home if you don't feel like coming". Eventually she shows up super mad and upset. Killing all the vibes. I leave her and ask the host (who has been touching me inappropriately all night knowing I have a gf) where the washroom is. She goes and grabs my hand saying "come ill show you". I know what you all want to happen next but I'll disappoint you and tell you what actually happened.

I wish I had enough time to fuck but it's only a matter of time until she realizes I've been gone with the host for a suspicious amount of time. The host and I make out, feel each other up. There's a fucking bed right next to us but I could feel the gf coming to check on me. I get up and say "sorry I wish we could do this but it's not gonna work out right now". She understands and leaves. I think to myself that there needs to be a reason why I was there for so long. So I pretend to be vomiting. Honestly, this only helps me since she goes "see that's why you shouldn't drink".

Fun side story : talking to my buddy after, she asked him where I was and he said "he's downstairs puking probably, he said he wasn't feeling well" (he didn't know at the time what was happening but count on your best friends to cover you at all times lol)

She was having such a bad time that she made her parents come get her. She was only having a bad time because she was upset I didn't get her from the subway fyi.

Fast forward to the next day. I message her "so what now?" she replies with the usual girl response
