If there are classic film buffs on the board, they might want to rewatch Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock. The entire movie reads like a meditation on marriage, the impossibility of it working, and the reality of male/female relationships. Lots of funny one liners and insights on marriage, as well. Jimmy Stewart is rad in this.
