One of the common themes there seems to be the central disagreement/qualm I have with mainstream-TRP; the idea of maintaining the illusion of the attractive self. What TRP would call maintaining frame and exuding dominant alpha traits always come at the expense of your true disposition.

For me, the idea of having to effectively pretend to be a staged, rehearsed caricature of myself is infuriating; it suggests that I am unacceptable as I am. The act itself is exhausting. Men who believe they can maintain that illusion forever are fooling themselves. And many over in TRP believe it to be an illusion that only needs to maintained for as long as they're interested in spinning the plate. But what's forgotten is that this is a role every man has to play in every relationship. That level of character-acting, when held for extended periods (often to only be met with unceremonious rejection) leaves men empty, drained of any semblance of who they truly are. This is why MGTOW is the only sensible viewpoint in the manosphere, for me.

The apathy is strong, I am the same way now, I used to be the guy who would get textpectation when I was talking to a oneitis, now I can drop them from my life and not feel anything.

Also, getting a dog is a good choice, aside from the language barrier I feel more emotionally connected to my dog than I have ever felt to any woman.

Cept where he says "if a girl asks me out I won't say no". Which I did a few times. But aside from that, he kinda sums me up perfectly over the past 10 years or so lol

There will be no effect of men boycotting 20-something hookups as most want the top 20% anyway. The real effect is going to be when men avoid the marriage/kid trap. Baby rabies is a real thing and women will really feel how hypergamy and feminism failed them.

Most sounds like on the first steps of MGTOW. Some seems to be already there. Me and many was MGTOWing before knowing the acronym existed (I posted about it here many months ago).

I think the main thing they didn't see to get yet (and that was the most important thing I learned when got in touch with MGTOW online) is that putting your happiness as dependent of intimate company is a trap. Overall, while reading all that, if I imagine they are close to find that out, a warm feeling encloses my heart.

I'm also surprised that nobody went there and screamed "MGTOW4LIFE!1!!1111" YET.
