I don't think so. Having a dog is one thing, you feed and water it, walk it and the rest of the time it lays on the floor and sleeps.

A kid is a lot of work. You work your ass off taking care of them for 18+ years. Chances are your daughter will run off and start doing DP porn. Your son will become a Marxist transgender owlkin. Or they might not even live to 18, dying from a rare cancer caused by all the fucked up things in this world.

If I had a kid, it would be for extremely selfish reasons like me wanting my offspring to carry my name on. My name means nothing though, I'm just a little plebeian in this great big fucked up system.

Most places require you to be married to adopt. But who knows what could happen years from now. Maybe men will get that right. (Lol, ya... Equality in the family court system. Hahaha)

Im adopted myself, and ive always said that my first child will be adopted or from foster care. My girlfriend said I was a selfish manchild for wanting to do this. Shes now an ex girlfriend.

I'm 20 years old and always imagined kids in my future. Now that I joined MGTOW, I feel like I don't want kids anymore especially in this fucked up world that we're in right now. But if I ever did want a kid, I would consider adopting.

I'd like to raise a few boys, even adopt. There's the biological instinct to raise your own genetic children, and I feel that too. But, that's something I could do with surrogacy, and hopefully the artificial womb everyone here is hyped about.

Thing is, there's young men in the foster care system that really need adoption for them to get a step up in life. Even if my genetics are sound, I feel its more important to raise children with the right mindset rather than one's own genes.

Of course, none of this matters at the moment, since the adoption system does not look favorably upon single adults, particularly men.

Absolutely - and I see that as a very decent route to legitimise MGTOW for the general public (some of the rhetoric goes too far for me).

Also in the UK at least, adoption by a single parent is legal.

I would only be able to do justice by my own children or those of siblings. Regardless of how much I'd want to be fair to an adopted child, it'll never happen and anyone who claims to be such, is lying.

We're biologically programmed to show preference towards our own genetic lineage when it comes to offspring. This hardwiring cannot be undone or overruled.

Hell, it's the only thing that would cause a woman to even consider self-sacrifice.
