I sort of like the idea of this subreddit, but I hope that the men here focus on the wellbeing of other men—that's what spurs them. Please strive not to be led by revenge or resentment as to how society treats you. That will just supply us with unproductive anger, not progression.

When it comes to oppression, the pendulum swings back and forth. When side A is oppressed by side B, side A strikes back, in turn, causing side B to be oppressed. When side B is oppressed, they retaliate, which causes side A to be oppressed again. Back where we started.

This hatred and vindictiveness is what, I think, muddied a good idea—female equality. Many cared less about women and more about hating men.

So, now that we are presented with a new movement of men seeking their share of equality, I beg that you try your best to break the cycle of inequality and let a genuine drive for fairness lead your ship.
