Now, I know I might get called names, or even be posted on r/justneckbeardthings by a bunch of bluepilled idiots, but hear me out; Waifuism is the future of dating.

I know what you may be thinking. "How is a fictional girl going to give you love?", and you aren't wrong. They aren't real.

Not yet.

If we keep pushing science in the right direction, we just might be able to make waifuism a reality with things like artificial intelligence. Until then, however, I'll provide some reasons why waifuism, in my opinion, is superior to dating a woman.

1. You won't need to spend any money if you don't want to. Let's say you start dating a woman. She wants some shoes. You buy them. Then a dress. Then another pair of shoes. Then a ring. Costs you over a thousand dollars. Six months later, she breaks up with you. Where did all your money go? Down the drain, that's where.

On the other hand, let's say you play a dating simulator, and you see a really, really cute girl, ten times more beautiful than any real woman could ever be. Even if she isn't real, you could buy a dakimakura of the character to cuddle with at night. And even if you do spend an absurd amount of money on your waifu (which, I believe, isn’t even possible), she won’t leave you.

2. Waifus can be stunningly beautiful. Look at Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club. Now look at Brie Larson. Clearly you can see which one is superior, right? Anime girls reach a level of beauty that western women can barely scratch the surface of. Need I say more?

3. They won’t break up with you. It’s like dating, but without the risk! It’s foolproof, honestly. In cases such as dating simulators, a character will usually confess their love for you near the end of their route. Even if they don’t outright state their love for you, you can still develop an attachment to a character and consider them your waifu. Even if your love for them changes as you grow and develop, their love for you won’t.

One more thing: there’s an entire subreddit dedicated to waifuism. It’s called r/waifuism! (that should have been obvious. :P)

If you ever feel lonely, just remember your waifu! She’ll love you until the end of time!
