There is no new Star Wars being produced, just incompetent fan fiction. It ended with Return of the Jedi. We got a nice sequel to it in terms of the Thrawn novels but that was it for Star Wars in my world.

If most of you have seen, they are just coming up with new characters to replace the old ones. Why? Coz George Lucas gets paid if they use the old ones particularly when it comes to toys.

As most of you know, the new stuff just isn't selling. God knows how many Holdos and Reys are still clogging up the local toy shop in my town. Darth Vader still sells tho.

And on the subject of the films, being directed and written by people who have no idea what star wars is. It is a SOAP OPERA IN SPACE. That's it. These new films should have been an opportunity to build on the already established lore. Instead we have the complete mess that is Disney's Star Wars.

The original trilogy is fun to rewatch still.
