Hey redpillers, I need some manly guidande here. My mother has always been very adoring towards me, witch i’ve always found uncomfortable because its kind of the same kind of adoration I see in women who are attracted to me. Like... she’s drawing attention to her hair and such and after a while seemingly getting a bit... aroused... when talking to me. When I was younger she often gave me long stares witch I felt was very uncomfortable. Every time I see her she comments something about my looks. She’s for a long time expressed jealousy towards some of her friends who have such “friend level” connections with their children, witch I’ve always felt is an inappropriate family dynamic. We do have a pretty good connection as she’s pretty sharp and witty, but I almost always feel that it gets too close for comfort. She’s often been depressed and loves to talk about her hard childhood and her feelings (witch I mostly refuse to engage in) and has expressed that she wants me to help fix her.

She likes to parade me around and show me off to her friends and colleagues. She has tried to suggest trips abroad with just me and her. She also constantly shit tests me if I tell her my plans or aspirations, or sometimes adopts them as if they were her own aspirations.

She’s married, but not to my father, and I’ve grown up living with her and her husband. Her husband is under her thumb. I guess I’m more redpilled from my father, who is somewhat of a ladies man.

Is this a common mother-son situation or is it messed up? I’m thinking it’s unhealthy but I’m also thinking I may be over analyzing it.
