One of the main reasons why I split from my exw was her messy nature. She wouldn't clean up after herself and I used to come home from work and have to clean the kitchen before I could cook dinner for the kids (she was a shit cook and couldn't be arsed to learn, I did all the cooking as it was something I actually enjoyed). Now that I'm divorced, my own house is spotless, not show home clean but everything tidy and dusted, hovered etc....but every time I go to hers to collect the kids I feel like I need disinfection, it's gross. It's clear I was keeping a lid on things when I lived there. Thankfully the kids keep their spaces clean so they're not living in filth, but holy cow it's nasty as fuck. I've offered the kids to live with me once they're older (which I think they will take).

Anyone else left a partner due to them being a horrible dirty monster....and what's your worst stories?
