Backstory:

Been fucking this girl pretty steady in a rotation for about 6-7 months while at college. Ended up vetting her for LTR. She did pretty good. Covid closed down school right when I decided I would give her LTR status next time she pushed for exclusivity. Stuck in temporary LDR for a few months and lost all other plates, oneitis, etc.

Meat: During a phone convo, she told me in a sad girl voice that “I don’t know how to say this, but if you are fucking other girls from now until the next time I see you, I don’t know if I want to go up with you, but I don’t know, maybe I could get over it for you.”. I told her I understood and that I wouldn’t want to get serious with her if she was doing the same. I asked her some questions about the next few months and told her I’d bite and gave her exclusivity. She used to brush the topic of exclusivity a lot in the past but has never explicitly asked for it, and technically still hasn’t. Is this the wrong circumstance to promote to LTR/exclusivity? Was this an ultimatum?
