This happened a while ago. I was at a some girls house with my friends for a laid back social thing, and at one point talked to a girl I hadn’t met before. This girl is nothing special I definitely did not hit on her in any way, just had a normal conversation while waiting for her friends to come out. Thought nothing of it, but the next week one of my friends told me she had told her brother (friends coworker) that I was rlly “creepy” cuz I was staring at some girls ass or some bullshit. This didn’t rlly bother me much but thought it was funny and kind of annoying she’s talking shit, so the next time we were there I confronted her in front of a few other girls in a joking way. It made the whole situation extremely awkward for a little bit, although I turned it into a joke after she squirmed for a while. What should I have done in this situation? The other girls there, my friends, kept reassuring me that I am not creepy in any way and this girl was whack, but I knew that and thought maybe I came across as insecure. Appreciate any advice!
