Hello good people,

I went out to do cold approaches yesterday. I had been single for almost a year and hadn't approached much in a while.

I was feeling in top shape and did approaches nonstop for about 5 hours at a big mall. I went in being as honest and friendly as possible to everyone. Giving value, you know, that hearty spiritual shit. I almost never got rejected, but they were mostly aloof in conversations and nearly all of them excused themselves after talking for a while. I was honestly a bit astounded. I did everything right, and I think all things considered, I'm pretty good bf material.

At the end of the night I was still upbeat and positive but just didn't want to talk to anyone anymore. This morning I woke up feeling pretty cynical, and couldn't help but feel scorn at the sight of a woman. I don't even feel like going out again. I ask myself what is the point?

I don't get it. I put myself out there, all of me, vulnerable and naked. I know I will have better luck the more I do this. However, how do I not get the bitterness get to me? Obviously it's not going to help me to harbor more resentment to the very group of people I want to get closer to.

Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated. May all of you have a great holiday season.
