I've always felt like my identity and masculinity was tied to my ability to pick up girls. For years and years and even as a teen I felt envious of guys who were very successful with this. Above everything else, (being jacked or muscular, being rich, being intelligent, etc)
I'm not even sure why but I feel like it's been drilled into me at an early age that a man who is very successful with women is a good representation as a man and being an alpha. Coming into my late 20's I still feel like this but less and less each year I get older
Has anyone else felt like this? What are your takes on male masculinity being tied to this?
Thanks
