I can’t stand my family anymore. They’re mostly well-intentioned people more or less, but they’re just so indirectly and directly toxic and irresponsible and annoying that I have grown to resent them after maturing and experiencing life outside of their immediate influence for several years. I grew up thinking I was part of a very standard, loving, American family blah blah blah but now that I know better I realize it’s just like 3-4 generations of very femcentric dynamic (abrasive and unhinged females and wussy men that don’t do anything about it) and divorce. I realize now that everyone just sort of tolerates each other, and everything revolves around a handful of really annoying, vindictive, selfish, and petty women.
My grandfather on my dads side is your cliche wealthy, white collar, cowardly narcissist that was raised in a female dominated household. A sniveling liberal type that thinks he’s better than everyone, yet very manipulative and he neglected his own family for most of his life and eventually cheated on my real grandmother with the woman he his now married to. Both of his wives have been nuts: very talkative, extremely overbearing/controlling/domineering, very ignorant, very petty and emotionally unstable. His current wife is on a bunch of medications to control her depression and mood, she is difficult to be around because everything she says is kind of inappropriately underhanded; she’s like bipolar. Yet he simps for her. She never wanted kids so they have these two awful little yippy dogs that are the most retarded animals I’ve ever known, they just yip and shit and piss everywhere in the big house while their humans chain smoke all day. It’s gross. My grandfather however had two kids with his first wife: my dad and my cliche crazy liberal aunt.
My dad, unfortunately, a lot like his dad. He’s better about being around and helping out, but he still neglected a lot of important things that being an involved parent entails. That, and he chases crazy, miserable women and is pretty blue pill. My mom is an overbearing wine-o narcissist that seems to have a latently hatred for masculinity; naturally I rebelled super hard when I was old enough to think for myself and I still don’t really talk to her several years after moving out. She tried really hard to force femcentric domineering on my little brother and I and we were miserable. She was also abusive; she would just drink wine or gin and take everything out us. We were stuck with her as my parents divorced when I was 8-9z My little brother just started college, he’s built like a tank somehow but he’s very meek an sensitive and anxious and wouldn’t come out of his room unless he absolutely had to for most of his life. Presumably because it was just a toxic environment of mostly me fighting off my mom all day every day. My dad’s new wife is a textbook BPD: extremely volatile, hostile, arrogant, controlling. She might be the craziest female I know, and what’s scary is she’s a cop. To put it into perspective, she ruins every family get-together by herself and everyone in the whole family hates her; she fights with my dad several times a day and one time she chased him around with her service pistol. Of course, they have a kid together.
My dad’s mother is an extremely overbearing, overweight (now) and ignorant magpie that doesn’t enjoy anything or have any hobbies or skills so she just bothers people all day on the phone or in person. She’s the type that thinks women make everything better Everything is a lecture with her and she’s the last person that anyone would go to for advice. She’ll just follow you around all day nagging and lecturing and condescending, she’s relentless. She ran her late husbands (who was surprisingly the only male I bounded with) life until he died of cancer in 2013.
My aunt on my dad’s side is an overweight, overbearing, eccentric, divorced, far left wine-o. Shes like her mother, except she won’t even get off her fat ass to boss people around and lecture. She didn’t have a career until she was like 40, and is now a social worker yet her two sons are on the brink of suicide and hardly see/talk to anyone. It’s sad because us kids were all really close growing up.
Lastly, my aunt on my moms side is a widow the snapped after my uncle died and now she just runs around with older black gentlemen and neglects her four daughters (my cousins) that are all over the country now pretending to be social media influencers or whatever. Most are just couch hopping. They’re all psycho and no one really sees them much anymore.
So there’s a handful of “camps” in my family, and they’re all ran by crazy women that all passive aggressively fight with everyone and with each other. To make matters worse, the men are simps that don’t do anything to curtail it. I felt so alone and angry for so long because of it that I moved 1,000 miles across the country to break the cycle and build my own life the way I want it without being shamed 24/7 for being a dude that likes to box and work on mechanical things or whatever and doesn’t compromise his dignity to appease annoying females. When I fly back to where I’m from to visit, it’s like night and day. I get this overwhelming sense of dread because I relive how miserable I was and also feel guilty for abandoning my cousins and brothers. I don’t mean to sound ungreatful or just feel sorry for myself, it’s whatever, but it’s a of a shitty feeling knowing I’m basically alone as far as family goes.
TL;DR... My whole family is female dominated and toxic to everyone involved. A lot of lives were nearly ruined. We’re now all separated and not talking for the most part because it’s just too much drama thanks to the women and the men that enable it. I gave up on trying to maintain relationships with all of them and moved across the country to break the cycle and my only regret is not going MGTOW and moving away sooner.
