You can't read all of that and still be blue pill unless your brain has the grey matter cell count of a metaphorical sieve.

I'm constantly looking at my copy of 48 Laws of Power, it's something that even when fully read you can go back to and refresh on and read multiple times, it's a bestseller for a reason. It will help any man build value in his life, although it can leave a bitter taste on the philosophical ponderings of human nature. It's a very red pill book, and very pragmatic, however if one is supplementing their sanity with blue pill fantasies, they may have a very adverse reaction to some of the shit written in this book. This book has been referred to by some as "the book of the devil" and no, there's no satanic shit in it, this is just the kind of reaction bluepillers have when reality and power dynamics are verbalised and explained. They shut the fuck down and stick their fingers in their ears.

Art of Seduction I also own, it's very verbose on the historical references which may annoy some, it allows you to identify different types of "alpha women" by laying out how they go about seducing you. It also identifies "alpha men" and how they go about seducing women. I'm currently on a hiatus from actively gaming chicks or even bothering to spin plates or any other shit that involves time and energy on women, I'm not MGTOW but I am busy building value and working on myself to be distracted and investing the time on strategizing to get tail so I'm on a hiatus.

I read about 20 pages of No More Mr Nice Guy and I knew I wasn't a nice guy, so I stopped reading it, it was boring me and telling me shit I already knew. I guess this book is for absolute betas/clueless guys. It gets recommended here when guys are "just too nice". Seeing as I didn't read much, I can't personally endorse this one, but other people here will.

I read like 50-60 pages of The Manipulated Man. If you are a man that has a pussy on a pedestal as a gender-wide mindset, this woman's writings (yes you read correctly) will rip you a new asshole in perspective. I didn't read it all because it's very negative and not very practical, essentially the book is an attack on feminism and reframes feminism in a way that men were and are exploited by society. Good book for men who think women are the superior gender and would otherwise consider being transgender and getting HRT due to cultural feminist bigotry conditioning them to view masculinity perversely.

Rational Male best of year one is a collection of articles from the manosphere writer Rollo in his first year, I've probably read about 50% of those articles featured (and a good number more not featured) that's a lot of theory that can be applied practically in his writings, he's a good writer and has some interesting theories.

Rational Male Year Two is essentially the same as year one, but newer articles and theories. I haven't read them (fallen out of touch of reading Rollo because I'm too busy with life/reading 48 laws)

When you've considered how little I've read from this reading list, and I'm RP enough to be endorsed, it should tell you enough. There's hundreds of thousands of words, and thousands of theories, concepts and examples to get to grips with here, if you had a month straight to yourself with nothing else to do you could perhaps read all this and begin to internalise it, to truly internalise you need to see the theories in the real world, at work, in a bar, with a friends situation or whatever. Just 20-30% of this shit should see you becoming pretty RP. This is practically a red pill atom bomb of content. Enjoy.

Generalised advice:

Lift/run, it helps with confidence and applying the knowledge/getting motivation/helping you value yourself. Makes a prettier body too so increases your SMV.
Get rid of toxic people in your life, change jobs, ditch "friends." This especially means diehard feminists and radicals who see the world through an ugly ass filter.
Respect - Don't take feminist arguments seriously. Don't take anyone you don't respect seriously. Automatically put people on 0, their actions can raise their respect with you so you take them more seriously and into the green or they can lower your respect and take your respect for them into the red. Value your respect, it is power, don't undervalue it, don't give it away unless its earnt.
Agree and amplify when shit tested. Everyone does it. Your family does it. Your friends do it. Girls you want to fuck do it and attack you with a barrage of shit tests like a re-enactment of the London Blitz. People tend to notice it when they're getting blitzed, but truthfully whenever someone tests your frame, it's a shit test.
Build value, maintain it and defend it from shit testing/other agendas or face losing it, it sounds like "this friend" had a lot of his own personally perceived and/or actual value tied to his ex, and since she dumped him he's beside himself and feeling worthless/confused. Peace. Good luck to him.

1) Stop talking about her.

2) Take him out and meet young women. If you two are not fit and don't dress well, work on that first and use the confidence it gives you to meet people.

He can learn that his real life starts now.
