Breaking Free

I am extremely thankful that this community exists.

The information and concepts provided here on this subreddit are not simply empowering, they are life-changing. I've been around long enough to know this subreddit saved lives.

When I come here and read about what others went through, revisiting their pain through their posts and witnessing what women are truly capable of... I feel like I can see through all the bullshit, all the beautiful lies, I feel like I can finally see women and this society for what they truly are. Finally, clarity of mind.

But this clarity of mind, this wisdom, this power, comes at a price - everything I thought I knew about women... everything I was taught from a very young age about my role as a man in society (protector, provider, etc.)... all of that is completely gone, and all that remains is an imperative, the imperative to go my own way and redefine myself in my own terms, outside of the gynocentric sphere of influence.

When I was in my early 20's, I wish there was an online community like this where one could exchange, ask questions and make sense of it all.
