Two questions for women who minimize the negative effects of paternity fraud by using the argument “a child is a child”

For those who don’t know what paternity fraud is:

“Paternity fraud, also known as misattributed paternity[1] or paternal discrepancy,[2] is when a man is incorrectly identified to be the biological father of a child. The underlying assumption of paternity fraud is that the mother deliberately misidentified the biological father.[3]”

1. To the women who minimize paternity fraud by using the “a child is a child” argument, would it be okay if you later found out that a nurse randomly assigned you a baby from the maternity ward after you gave birth?

2. Do you believe paternity tests should be mandatory at birth? (Hypothetically for this question, the alleged father will pay for it.)
