I have been involved with this community for several months now and though there are some hateful posts that come up, the majority of the posts are objective and rational. Through my exposure to this subreddit I learned a lot about both female and male behavior, evolutionary pyschology and how they influence our behaviors today, fascinating statistics on a wide variety of topics, and the significance behind achieving your goals above everything else. Sure some of posts can be vulgar (though rarely hateful) along with some of the comments and I think for the most part this group is filled with men who are trying to educate the younger generation of men on things that they wish they had known. My exposure helped me realize toxic femininity in my day to day life and this lifestyle is so rewarding. I always had this notion that a single man is somehow an unproductive man or a selfish man and that's not entirely true. Productivity is dependent on an individuals character and everyone is inherently selfish. I Googled MGTOW and the majority of the results are slandering this lifestyle and misrepresenting what it actually is [Check out every definition on Urban Dictionary, not a single one is accurate]. Why do you think media groups have this incorrect perception on this lifestyle and if you think that the misrepresentation is intentional, why do you think that is?
