Gallstones are often times caused by poor diet, sometimes obesity, or spleen/pancreas dysfunction. Also if you live a sedentary lifestyle this won’t help your case either.

Don’t allow your doctor to jump straight to gallbladder removal without doing any of your own research first.

I recommend you switch to a whole foods plant based diet focusing on eating lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, legumes, and staying away from animal products. The high fat and cholesterol content of these animal products could very well cause your gallstones.

Too much cholesterol in the gallbladder is typically the cause of gallstones. Another possibility is too much Bilirubin buildup, however this is unlikely as it would mean your spleen or pancreas would have to be functioning incorrectly. Plus, you’d know you have too much Bilirubin if you’re experiencing jaundice.

In all likelihood, this is probably a dietary issue. Follow my diet advice that I gave you above. The only real explanations besides diet is spleen/pancreas dysfunction, duct blockage, or inflammation. So yeah, follow the diet advice for a bit and see how it treats you.

Edit: Try getting a CT scan to see if you have any duct blockage, if you haven’t gotten a scan already this could be the issue.
