I was in an arranged Islamic marriage with a repulsive man my parents pressured to accept. I never loved him and was never attracted to him. In fact, I hated him from the minute he proposed and went through the marriage despite seeing how much I disliked him. He was a loser who had to come to the middle east to find a bride, because clearly women here in the West have choice, experience, and know better. Outside of making decent money and bringing me to the states, he had nothing to offer. He was boring, unsupportive, unattractive, always told me who cares when I was speaking, did not care about pleasing me in bed, never told me I was beautiful, expected me to act like a full time servent at home. I am so glad that he died early from sudden stage 4 cancer before I could have his inferior children. I did not believe in god but if I did, I would thank it for finally ending my misery. I had to pretend to mourn him for a few weeks when I went back to bury him but am now back and finally free. I get a lot of male attention, from men of all cultural and racial backgrounds, many are very attractive. I am ready to get into the dating market but I want to know what do, how I know I am not being played, how I can ensure I will not get abused or trapped into something I don't like. I don't want anything serious yet. I want to spend the next few years having as much fun as possible but after that I want the best looking, more attractive, high-status man to father my children. Please share your best advice because I am very eager to learn everything that I can!
