Being ugly is FREEDOM

I know it’s been said before, but let me reemphasize with my own epiphany of this:

I had been a gender non-conforming female for years so I have a baseline of rarely, if ever, getting male “I’m about to devour you” looks - only disgusted and disheveled looks.

The other day I had a more frilly undershirt under my button up, which I do not usually wear, and it was hot so I took off the outer shirt. The ensuing attention was HELL. I don’t even look that spectacular but I was shocked to experience such objectification (I even have had a mastectomy, so it’s not like there’s anything there).

Men were staring at me with a prolonged interest and so I stared right back with a snarl until they looked away which I don’t think they expected. Maybe not the safest thing but fuck them (except not).

I’m staying ugly as long as I’m in this fucking patriarchal world. Life is way better!
