Second hand clothes shops came in my country about a year ago. They were there before, but not in such number or as well stocked. My mother went a few times and she got hooked. Almost new shirts, sweaters, jeans,shirts, even jackets if you're lucky, at the fraction of a price. Now, 80% of the clothes are shit, or worth as much as they're selling for. But if you're a regular there, and know when the shop gets restocked, you're in for some good brand name clothes, or quality non brand shit that fits good. She knows my measures and buys stuff weekly. Good shit that fits and looks good.

Should I keep the fact my clothes are from thrift shops a secret? I don't mind telling anyone who asks, I'm quite proud to pay 5$ for a 40$ sweater. Second thing, should I keep buying clothes since most of the shit I choose is complementing the shoulder to waist ratio, so I think that's good, and I match the colors so I look sleek.

I don't know, my parents always spent their money wisely. This is a way for me to look good + save tons of money on a monthly basis. Just feels socially unacceptable to let anyone know. IDGAF attitude is what I'm rolling with, but I can feel some of my mates and/or people look down upon me, because I make more money than they do but still decide to dress from thrift shops. Their problem but still, why would they do that?
