What are your thoughts of top ranked MBAs (top15) in US?

MBA programs are getting less popular as the world increasingly value technical skills. Most people take mba to fast track their career and obtain more power. However, going this route means incurring significant debt and going through more political grind in a corporation. A higher position in a large corporation may mean you will be in power to retrench/fire workers, but someone above you probably can do the same.

My concern is that one will learn nothing technical in a MBA program, compared to a specialized masters. If one is retrenched in your late 40s or 50s and with no real skillset, there is a significant loss of income.

How does TRP lenses view the future dynamics of such degrees?
