Reblogged from Sigma Frame: The Narrow Way (2020 June 8)

The current Marriage Marketplace is as narrow as it gets.

Readership: Christian men;

Under the previous post, AngloSaxon has attempted to articulate an aphorism of Red Pill orthodoxy.

“Red pill orthodoxy is avoid marriage like the plague and shag random bitches.”

To me as a Christian, this statement is not correct, but is rather a perverse amalgamation of different but somewhat related ideas. Let me explain.

I agree with Honeycomb in that the Red Pill is basically the approach of facing the bitter, uncomfortable truths about women and life in general. Overall, it’s better to face the truth, but what a man does with this information rests entirely on the individual man.

Avoiding or rejecting marriage is a conclusion based on a Red Pill analysis of the current state of the marriage marketplace. It has become obvious that marriage is a horrible deal for the average man these days, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be done successfully. It just means that a man has to be extra careful and wise in doing so, and for many men, the conclusion is still the same.

“Shagging random b!tches” is essentially the old PUA attitude of taking whatever you can get. A Red Pill analysis does suggest that the opportunities for doing this have never been better.  But it doesn’t mean that every man should make sexual promiscuity into his life mission as Roosh did.

Because of the above reasons, I would not call AngloSaxon’s statement an “orthodoxy” per se, but rather the simplified conclusions that many secular Red Pilled men might come to. However, these conclusions are not a valid application for the mature Christian man. Christians must therefore believe that there is another way.

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV)

A lot of my writings here at Sigma Frame try to identify what this other way might look like for a believer.  So far, I can say that it is difficult, complicated, and narrow indeed, seemingly impossible unless you have a bit of faith. But I can also say that embarking on the narrow way is determinant of one building character, developing charisma, and having a long journey of personal and spiritual growth.  Comfort and happiness, not so much, unless you stick with it until later in life.

Like it or not, this is the will of God for us as men — that we might obtain life everlasting.  This is one of the main reasons why there must necessarily be a schism, as described in the previous post. Christian men must stake out and pursue the narrow way, which is an arduous task non-Christian men will never hope to do.
