A common gynocentric trope is that female hypergamy, solipsism, whoring, idiocy, and hamstering finds its origin in this amorphous "daddy issues". Note that there is never an analogous "mommy issues" for male bad behavior, that should tell you what they really think. They allow personal responsibility for men, but play armchair psychologist and ascribe to psychological determinism when it's women.
While it is true that fatherlessness or paternal abuse is the trigger point, after a certain age it becomes entirely their responsibility.
A good woman would use her lack of a father as a catalyst to commit to securing a good husband and father to her kids. She would use it as motivation to make up for the loss. How many have you met that do this? Not that they merely say the want to do this, but actually follow through?
A final note about this, if you were to genuinely probe the psychology of a woman with daddy issues, you'll find a common theme. Their fathers often set boundaries, rules, or goals for them, but they rebelled because they didn't respect him. Whether that was because the dad was absent, or because he was a good man and the mom poisoned her against him, or maybe because he was hypocritical, it really doesn't matter. Very few cases are overt abuse, most cases are a simple lack of respect repackaged as abuse for simp wrangling.
